CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

The Fillmore County Hospital Foundation kicked off a large Capital Campaign in November 2021, called “Completing the Campus”.  We have a goal to raise $1.5 million for the current building project. Fillmore County Hospital relocated from a downtown landlocked location to the edge of town adjacent to the US Highway 81 in March of 2012.  Since the move, we have experienced tremendous organizational growth.  We have grown in the number of employees, service lines, and volumes of current service lines.  The experienced growth, along with the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, led us to the decision to pursue our large hospital additional and renovation project.

Gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds and real property qualify for a charitable income tax deduction, avoid capital gains taxes and reduce potential estate taxes.

You can make a charitable gift using the beneficiary designation of your IRA, 401(k) or other retirement plans. This type of gift avoids estate and income taxation on the assets accumulated tax-free during your lifetime.
