The Pharmacy Department at Fillmore County Hospital is committed to providing quality pharmaceutical care to all patients.
The Pharmacy is staffed by 1 full-time pharmacist as well as 1 full-time pharmacy technician, who are both responsible for purchasing all medications and providing safe and secure distribution of medications throughout the facility.
Pharmacists, both on-site and remotely, provide clinical services at Fillmore County Hospital. Medication orders are reviewed by a pharmacist for appropriate dosing, therapeutic duplication, drug interactions and allergies.
The Pharmacy Department participates on many hospital wide committees and we work closely with Medical and nursing staff to provide safe and effective medication therapy, in order to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
