  • Dr. Stoner was more concerned about me than any Dr ever has been. It was great to see him that concerned and care so much.

  • I currently work at Mary Lanning and there is an amazing difference between the staff. I don’t know where you find all of these nice people. From the moment I walk in I am happily greeted from all staff whether it’s housekeeping, front reception, etc. It is such a warm atmosphere.

  • Starting week four after total knee replacement. Therapy going along nicely. Kudos to your staff throughout the hospital and especially the ones (you know who you are) who had to deal with my sense of humor during my stay. Very happy my family and I chose your hospital for my services done and the outcome. You all should feel proud of your excellence and values and patient outreach programs at and after their hospital stay. Very knowledgeable staff. Thank you all.

  • I just had hip replacement done by Dr. Travis Stoner and his team. Everything was top notch, very friendly, very efficient. The entire staff were very encouraging as I walked the halls between my room and physical therapy, cheering me on. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone. I will also be having knee replacement surgery in approximately six months to a year and will be enjoying the same team and facility.

  • On Dec 30 2015 I was admitted to the Fillmore County Hospital. Everyone treated me with such awesome personal respect. Dr Stoner did a revision of a knee replacement. Again everyone took such good care of me and my family. My recovery while in hospital day and night was to my surprise everyone again took such Good care of me. My meals were good things to eat at all 3 meals. My P.T. was a accomplishment. I did not know that I actually could walk from my room to the P.T. Room. Big day for me.

  • I’ve been here through many aspects of surgery now and saw so many different people and interactions. People are always warmhearted. Everyone always has a smile. There’s no political push or conflicts. It’s just comfortable here. They make you feel like you are the only one who matters. You feel like a four-star guest. Dr. Stoner is just absolutely the best; a good, kind, gentle person who is determined to do his best…I can’t say enough about him. It’s the people and their care and their concern – every one of them – who make it special.

  • “I literally didn’t think I would walk again,” said Carol after she described her back pain and decreased mobility from a severe car accident. Among the increasing back pain, Carol was also battling diabetes and the onset of Parkinson’s disease. With each challenge combined, she found it even more difficult to keep her balance and maintain her daily routine. “I would fall down once a week; lose my balance and just fall. I got to where I couldn’t do much of anything and was tired of the same pain and repetition.

  • Jim Ferebee’s knees served him well. They had carried him for 84 years, since he was born in the same rural Nelson farmhouse where he still resides. A retired farmer, he asked much of those knees over the years, crawling on and off farm equipment, kneeling to fix tires, walking creek banks and scrambling over fences to care for livestock. Over decades, that’s a lot of clutching and braking, a lot of heavy buckets lifted with those knees.
