Patients with COVID-19
- NO visitor/support person is allowed for patients with a pending COVID-19 test or a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis
Patients admitted to hospital/placed in observation that do not have COVID-19 and are not being tested for COVID-19
- One healthy, adult visitor/support person at a time
Same Day Surgery/Procedures
- One healthy, adult visitor/support person may stay with patient until discharged
Diagnostic Test, Interventional Procedure, Outpatient/Specialty Clinic Visits
- Due to space limitations, we are unable to maintain social distancing in our waiting rooms- therefore:
- NO visitors/support persons allowed, except as noted under Guidelines with No Changes (see below)
Inpatient Behavioral Health– No visitors allowed at this time
Guidelines with No Changes
- ER- one healthy adult visitor/support person
- Labor and Delivery- one labor partner
- Pediatric/Minor patient (19 years of younger)- one parent/guardian
- Dependent Adult needing special assistance- for example, mobility or cognitive impairment- one health adult visitor/support person
Special Circumstances:
- Patients receiving end-of-life care- number to be determined by Care Team and patient’s family
- Certified service animals may accompany patient, as long as patient is able to care for them
Visitor/Support Person Must:
- Wear a mask
- Answer and pass screening questions upon entry to the hospital each day
- Pass a temperature check upon entry to the hospital each day
- Stay in the room with the patient as much as possible, not make unnecessary trips in/out of the hospital and should not wander around the hospital
HOSPITAL CAFETERIA IS STILL CLOSED TO VISITORS. VISITORS MAY REQUEST A GUEST TRAY TO BE SENT AT MEALTIME AT A COST OF $5. MEALS ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST TO PARENTS STAYING WITH INFANTS/CHILDREN.
