Stephanie Knight, MA, LIMHP, LADC
BH Director/ Mental Health Therapist/Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Born and raised in rural Nebraska, I have always been drawn to mental health advocacy and whole person wellness. I have 2 daughters that are both very active in activities and keep me busy! I began at UNL, and I graduated as a Psychology major with a minor in Sociology in 2005. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from Doane College in 2010. I hold a LIMHP and a LADC license.
I believe that you can’t have good health without good mental health and that by treating a person’s overall health, we can increase the quality of people’s lives. I believe in non-judgmental, person centered care where clients have a safe place to discuss any and all things that are affecting their lives through trauma informed, evidence-based treatment.
In early 2011 I was offered the opportunity to help develop a program for seniors in Geneva. I fell in love with the people and the population I was serving and have made Geneva our home. Since then, we have been able to maintain a thriving outpatient program serving individuals of all ages, develop a school based mental health program, offer recovery services, as well as offering several community benefits. We are proud to offer services across the continuum of care to a diverse range of populations and privileged to serve those in and around our communities.
