The rehabilitation department (physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy) at FCH is expanding. Due to sustained growth in all three areas, added staffing and equipment, and an increase in patient visits of about 20% every year the past 2-3 years, the Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy offices and treatment areas will be moved into the Integrated Health Pavilion part of the FCH campus.
The Integrated Health Pavilion parking lot is accessed off of H street, or on the back side of the main FCH campus. In this new rehab space, there is a remodeled gym that is closer to the acute inpatient floor, therefore may be used by inpatients and skilled patients. There are private treatment rooms for speech therapy patients and women’s health patients seen by occupational therapy. There is also a remodeled pediatric therapy gym that will serve our pediatric therapy programs.
The new space for OT and Speech Therapy opens for patient use on Monday, January 29th. Patients who have appointments will be given instructions on where to park and check in.
