The Laboratory is responsible for collecting blood, urine and other samples to aid providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. We provide service to a variety of areas from the emergency room to the inpatient floor, but the majority of our workload comes from outpatient visits.

We know that having blood drawn can be very stressful for most people. Every member of the lab is committed to providing the best possible experience during this time. We would like people to know that drawing blood is just a small part of the greater picture to patient care that we provide. Processing, analyzing and interpreting each lab test is very important and we are committed in treating each sample as if it were one of our family members counting on the quality work we provide.

The lab performs approximately 600 blood collections resulting in about 1,145 tests performed on site every month!

The lab provides a discounted lab draw every year in the fall. We see almost 400 people in that one day and it keeps growing every year! The savings is huge from $370 to as much as $900!

Wellness Wednesday’s:

FCH offers discounted lab draws by appointment the third Wednesday of every month. 

*REGISTRATION CLOSES THE TUESDAY PRIOR TO THE DRAW DATE EACH MONTH.
