Kelly Perry, LCSW
Mental Health Therapist/Clinical Social Worker
Hi, my name is Kelly Perry and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I grew up in small farming community in central Nebraska which allowed me to discover my passion for working with the geriatric population and rural communities. I knew I wanted to pursue social work early on in college and started out at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2013 with my Bachelors of Science degree. I attended the graduate school for Social Work at the University of Denver, where I continued pursuing my passion of aging, and graduated in 2015 with my Master of Social Work degree.
My experience prior to FCH included working in case management, long term care, hospice, memory care facilities, and working with grief, depression, and anxiety. Working at FCH has allowed me to be exposed to a different side of mental health in rural communities. I have experience working with individuals dealing with grief, loss, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, chronic pain, intellectual and developmental disabilities, perinatal mental health, and various addictions. I work with teens through the geriatric population.
I am now able to provide eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), have training in DBT, somatic techniques, and SMART recovery. I thrive on getting to build therapeutic relationships with my clients and provide an empowering and nurturing environment.
