Stephanie Knight

Behavioral Health Admin Director

Born and raised in rural Nebraska, I have always been drawn to mental health advocacy and whole person wellness. I am married and have 2 daughters, Izabella and Aliyah. I began at UNL and I graduated as a Psychology major in 2005 and received my Master of Arts in Counseling from Doane College in 2010.  I hold a LIMHP and a PLADC license. I believe that you can’t have good health without good mental health and that by treating a person’s overall health, we can increase the quality of people’s lives. I believe in non-judgmental, person centered care where clients have a safe place to discuss any and all things that are affecting their lives.

In early 2011 I was offered the opportunity to help develop a program for seniors in Geneva. I fell in love with the people and the population I was serving and have made Geneva our home. Since then, we have been able to maintain a thriving outpatient program serving individuals of all ages, opened a senior inpatient mental health unit, develop a school based mental health program, as well as offering several community benefits. We are proud to offer services across the continuum of care to a diverse range of populations.
