Tabitha Hoffman LMHP, LADC

Mental Health Therapist/Alcohol and Drug Counselor

I am a Nebraska native who appreciates living and working in the rural setting. I am passionate about Mental Health education and support not only to help those struggling but also to bring better understanding to families, friends, and the wider community. I am excited to be part of the Geneva community providing much needed services.

I received my master’s degree in Community Counseling in 2006 at Wayne State. I quickly pursued my license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHP) and my license as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).    Since 2006, I have worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds and needs.  Early in my career, I worked in both outpatient and residential substance abuse treatment providing clients the support and education needed to succeed in recovery.  In more recent years, I have found my passion for grief counseling and gaining an understanding into the unique dynamics of the grief journey.

I have additional training and experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), addiction, family therapy, caregiver support, complicated grief, and supporting survivors of suicide.  I am a registered provider of substances use services and evaluations with the state of Nebraska.  I am certified to administer the Addiction Severity Index (ASI) and have been trained in the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria.
