Jeff Wallman, MD
Physician
Dr. Wallman grew up on a farm near
Filley, Nebraska and graduated from
Freeman High School in 2013. He
thoroughly enjoyed helping his parents
with crop farming and raising livestock
(including cows, chickens, and goats
through 4-H and FFA), but knew from an early age that
he always wanted to be a physician.
He attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and
graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in
Biochemistry in 2017. He then attended medical school in
Omaha at the University of Nebraska Medical Center
(UNMC) and graduated in 2021. Following medical
school, he continued his medical training at UNMC with
his family medicine residency program, joining the
advanced rural training program in 2020. He finished
residency in June 2024 just prior to starting his
employment at Fillmore County Medical Center in
September. He enjoys practicing full scope family
medicine, including outpatient and inpatient care,
emergency department coverage, and obstetrics.
During residency, Dr. Wallman married his wife, Emily,
who is from Beatrice, Nebraska. Emily attended
Creighton University and received her Doctor of
Occupational Therapy degree in 2020. She currently
works as an Occupational Therapist in the Rehab
Department of Fillmore County Hospital. Dr. Wallman
and Emily welcomed their son, Harrison in November
2025 who was born at Fillmore County Hospital.
