My name is Crystal Wilson and I am a Provisional Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. I was born in Missouri and received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2004 From Missouri State University. I have lived in Nebraska since 2007 and graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling from Doane University in May 2022. I completed my internships in community mental health and here at Fillmore County Hospital. I was fortunate enough to be offered a job at FCH at the end of my internship.  My internships helped me see the importance of mental health in rural communities. I am passionate about serving the rural community and I am proud to be a part of it as well. I believe in meeting people where they are and walking with them to figure out the best path to wellness.  I work to provide culturally competent care that affirms your experience because you are the expert on your life. 

My experience includes working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. I have a special interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ population. I have experience with a wide variety of age ranges, from children to the elderly, but do prefer to work with ages 18+. I love the variety of experiences that working at Fillmore County Hospital gives me. 

I have had additional training and experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
