Holly Howell – CSW
Case Management
I am originally from Cawker City, Kansas. I’m a graduate of Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, earning a Bachelors of Social Work degree. My husband and I live in Geneva, Nebraska with our daughter. My background includes: working with many diverse populations that include: children and adolescents in the school settings, Child Protective Services and reintegrated services for foster children, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
While attending Fort Hays, I workee as the House Manager in a home for persons with disabilities. During this time, my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia. With the help of my mother and sister, we were the caretakers of my grandmother until she was transferred to a local nursing home facility. While my grandmother was in the nursing home, I coordinated the care and services my grandmother would need. Here began my journey and love for Social Work.
My passion is working with the elderly. I enjoy listening to stories of days gone by, recognizing their struggle, and celebrating their triumphs. Two of my passions are ensuring patient quality of life and case management. Connecting families with the resources and services for their loved ones is one of the highlights of my position at FCH.
