Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory Therapy is concerned with the maintenance or improvement of respiratory functioning. At Fillmore County Hospital, our respiratory therapist sees patients with COPD, Asthma, Emphysema and other lung conditions. We do pulmonary functions tests and offer oxygen necessities and testing.
We offer Home Sleep Studies as well as In-lab sleep studies. Fillmore County Hospital is accredited by ACHC.
There was a 300% increase in COPD-OSA overlap diagnoses from 2004-2013. COPD is the third leading cause of death in the world. Killing over 2.5 million people a year, white oSA affects an estimated 936 million people worldwide.
All tests require an order from your physician.
